First cruise vessel lands at Kochi

Kochi, Oct.1, 2009
As part of the initiative taken to set up cruise tourism in Kochi, the first cruise vessel anchored at the port city on Sep.28.The vessel titled ‘Don Princess’ arrived from Australia via Mumbai, carrying 1950 passengers and halted for a day here before leaving for Thailand. The authorities are expecting more than 20 such tourist liners to berth in the city this season.
